About Beijing Tiantan Hospital
Tiantan's official neurosurgery history dates the department to 1982 and its reorganization as a center to 2022. The center separates cerebrovascular disease, neuro-oncology, pediatric neurosurgery, trauma, spinal and spinal-cord disease, functional surgery and peripheral-nerve care. Its glioma work includes molecular classification and research on preserving neurological function. Those research directions should not be read as an offer of an experimental drug.
