About the hospital
Ruijin was established in 1907, originally as Guangci Hospital. University accounts of its hematology program describe clinical and translational work in leukemia and other malignant blood disorders, including the historical development of differentiation therapy for acute promyelocytic leukemia. Its hospital-wide specialty list is much broader than hematology. Historical research achievements are context, not an individual treatment recommendation.
