About Xiangya Hospital
Xiangya traces its foundation to the Yale-China Association's hospital established in Changsha in 1906. The Xiangya name followed in 1914, alongside the development of medical education. Central South University's institutional history describes continued clinical, teaching and research work and academic exchange. Academic international links are distinct from a patient-facing international service. This hospital is separate from Second Xiangya.
